The CJRB Shale uses a combination of its crossbar lock mechanism with ceramic ball bearings in the pivot to make this knife quick to deploy and always ready in hand. The blade is made from AR-RPM9, a proprietary stainless steel that compares to D2 steel with an advantage in corrosion resistance. This model features a stonewashed blade finish OD green G10 handle. The Shale comes with a reversible deep carry stainless steel pocket clip.
