At the core of the Baja is a 3.25-inch drop point blade crafted from 1095HC high carbon steel, a steel well known for its toughness, excellent edge retention, and ease of sharpening. With a hardness rating of 56–58 HRC, the blade offers a balanced combination of durability and cutting performance, making it suitable for tasks such as cutting cordage, preparing kindling, carving wood, and general camp use. The coyote tan protective coating reduces glare while helping protect the carbon steel blade from corrosion during outdoor use.

The knife features full tang construction, meaning the blade steel runs the entire length of the handle for maximum structural strength and reliability. This design enhances durability and gives the knife a solid, balanced feel in hand.
