Spyderco introduced the limited-edition Sprint Run version of the Stretch 2 XL Lightweight, featuring Carpenter Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1, a high-performance steel designed for superior wear resistance and toughness. Utilizing the CarTech Micro-Melt powder metal process, this knife boasts an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. The full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade is crafted from this advanced alloy, offering functionality comparable to CPM CRU-WEAR.

Adding to its allure, the blade is coated with non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN), while the handle is injection moulded in a deep burgundy colour using fibreglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN). Complementing the black-and-burgundy design, the knife features a four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware with durable black coatings.
