The fourth-generation Police 4 Lightweight seamlessly merges the classic elements of the original Police design with the benefits of a lightweight, injection-moulded handle construction. This iteration elevates the design further by incorporating American-made CPM SPY27 blade steel.

Exclusive to Spyderco, CPM SPY27 enhances the cobalt-enriched chemistry of VG-10 stainless steel by integrating niobium, nitrogen, and higher volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium, resulting in a superb balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening.

This knife features a satin-finished, full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade that fully utilises these exceptional properties, and it is complemented by a lightweight fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle, moulded in a distinctive cobalt blue—one of the signature colours within the elite SPY27 family of knives.

Additionally, the handle incorporates the knife’s robust back lock mechanism, skeletonised stainless steel liners, and a versatile four-position pocket clip, allowing for left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry..
