This premium Sprint Run version of the Spyderco Para 3 proudly features a blade made from CPM 15V, an exceptional material known for its unmatched wear resistance among cold-work tool steels today. With nearly 15 per cent vanadium in its composition, this unique alloy generates a high concentration of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. For knife blades, this means outstanding cutting performance and impressive edge retention.

The limited-edition CPM 15V knives from Spyderco are further improved by a specialized heat treatment developed by renowned custom knifemaker Shawn Houston. This Sprint Run version of the Para 3 retains all the signature elements of its design, including a robust Compression Lock mechanism and a versatile four-position pocket clip. It also features distinctive brown peel-ply-textured G-10 handle scales and has Shawn Houston’s “Triple B” logo laser engraved on the reverse side of the full-flat-ground blade, clearly marking it as part of the CPM 15V series.
