The Lansky S0070 Extra Coarse Hone is a great accessory for an extreme knife user's Lansky Sharpening System. This 70 grit Alumina Oxide Hone lets you reshape and repair heavily chipped and damaged edges.

Instructions
For use with the Lansky Controlled Angle Sharpening Kits.
Step 1 - Insert the guide rod into the hone.
Step 2 - Make sure the rod is in line with the sharpening surface.
Step 3 - Bend the rod slightly, if needed.
Step 4 - Set the angle to the same one pre-established on your knife. 
Step 5 - Sharpen away
