Delivery Information
All items are shipped using Royal Mail or DPD, Some items may be sent by Royal Mail signed for service, which will require a signature on delivery.
We only ship to the UK, due to the nature of the products we sell we will not send any product outside of the UK.
For bladed items sent by DPD we will email you that your order has left here, DPD will also email you with a delivery date, they will also email you on the morning of delivery with a one hour delivery slot. DPD will try to deliver your order at least twice and will leave a card to let you know they have been, after 2 delivery attempts your item will be returned to us.
Delivery Prices
Royal Mail (2-3 Days) - Standard Products and UK EDC Knives - £2.99 All UK Postcodes
DPD (Next Day) - Fixed Blade and Locking Knives over 3" - £2.99 All UK Postcodes.
All fixed blade knives or locking knives with a blade longer than 3" need to be age verified on order, and on delivery - this is the law. The delviery price for his is fixed at £2.99 irrelevent of size or weight of order. Most of these order will ship with DPD on a next day service, we will email you tracking details - out of area (non UK Mainland and parts of Scotland) delvieries may be sent using Royal Mail instead of DPD.
These items will be age verified on delivery, meaning the DPD driver or the Royal Mail post person will age validate the delivery - the person accepting the delivery must be over 18.
Next day is next working day from the day we ship the item.
We do not ship outside the UK.
Important Updates Regarding The 2019 Offensive Weapons Act
From Wednesday 6th April amendments to the Offensive Weapons Act come into law, this means we will be changing the way we deliver some of our products to you, the changes to the law are to ensure knives can only be bought and delivered to adults.
This means that any knives that is covered by this law that we post to you will have to be delivered to an adult - it will be against the law to leave your parcel unaccompanied. They can no longer be left in a shed, behind the bins etc.
As a responsible knife seller we have always checked the age of the purchaser when placing an order, we will now be following the new laws and will be implementing age verification on delivery, but don't worry, you can still order any product on this site, even product we sell is legal to own in the UK, we do not sell anything banned by law - however your order will need to be delivered to a person over the age of 18.
Some knives do not require age verification on delivery, for your convenience we have marked these as "UK EDC" . The law states any non-locking knife with a blade of 3" or less do not require age verified delivery.
By age checking at time of order, and also age verified delivery - Cyclaire Knives and Tools are committed to making sure we provide you with an exceptional product range while all the times making sure we all comply with UK Law.
We will not sell a knife or anything with a blade to anyone under the age of 18. We actively check that all customers buying these items are aged over 18 years. One of our sources of information is the UK Register of Electors. If we have been unable to satisfactorily confirm your age you will then be contacted and asked to send to us proof of your age by post, email or photo-SMS. This may be in the form of a copy of your passport, driving licence or a utility bill.
We use Agecheck to verify you are over 18 - If you are under 18, do not buy from our site, you will not get the item.
